Past Funded Researchers
Valerie Karplus is the Class of 1943 Career Development Professor MIT's Sloan School of Management. Professor Karplus was the Director of the MIT-Tsinghua China Energy and Climate Project, and is a faculty affiliate of the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change and the MIT Energy Initiative. Professor Karplus is the recipient of a 2015 J-WAFS seed grant for her project, "Quantifying Mercury Contamination of Rice and its Impact on Food Security in China."
